Growing up in the middle of nowhere Colorado, much of my free time was occupied by puzzles, origami, and exploring. The limitations brought on by the small town lifestyle allowed me to cultivate a deep appreciation for the process of problem solving using a methodical approach. Thankfully I blindly stumbled upon the world of programming and it opened my eyes to the idea that I could have an impactful career while doing something that I deeply enjoy. Over time I've developed a deep appreciation for all aspects of software engineering, and I look forward to building my career around a field that allows for endless exploration.

During my studies I chose to focus on logic, philosophy of science, and ethics where I could explore different avenues of human thought. This taught me the significance of engaging in material critically with multiple perspectives in mind.
